Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented General Housekeeper. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and organisation across various areas, ensuring a welcoming environment for guests and staff alike. Previous experience in hospitality or janitorial services is highly desirable. This role offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to a professional setting where attention to detail and reliability are valued.

Responsibilities

Clean and sanitise guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces according to established standards
Change bed linens, replenish supplies, and ensure all areas are tidy and presentable
Dispose of waste materials responsibly and ensure recycling procedures are followed
Maintain cleaning equipment and supplies, reporting any issues or shortages promptly
Follow health and safety guidelines at all times to ensure a safe working environment
Assist with additional duties as required to support the overall cleanliness of the premises

Skills

Previous hotel experience or background in hospitality is preferred
Experience in janitorial or cleaning services is advantageous
Strong organisational skills with an eye for detail
Ability to work independently and efficiently in a fast-paced environment
Good communication skills and a positive attitude towards teamwork
Reliable, punctual, and committed to maintaining high standards of cleanliness
