Overview

At Açaí Berry Foods, our stores are energetic, customer-focused, and incredibly rewarding places to work. We're looking for a Store Manager who enjoys leading from the front, building high-performing teams, and delivering outstanding customer experiences—even during our busiest periods.

Duties

Lead and motivate the store team to deliver exceptional customer service.
Manage daily store operations, ensuring smooth and efficient service.
Recruit, train, coach, and develop team members.
Drive sales while controlling labour, waste, and operational costs.
Maintain excellent food safety, hygiene, and health & safety standards.
Ensure stock levels, ordering, and inventory are managed effectively.
Create a positive, accountable, and high-performance team culture.

Skills

Proven supervising experience within a food service or hospitality setting.
Strong team management skills with the ability to motivate staff effectively.
Extensive knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and food safety standards.
Previous experience in restaurant or café environments is highly desirable.
Excellent leadership qualities with the ability to organise and prioritise tasks efficiently.
Good understanding of food production processes and kitchen operations.
Experience in serving customers in a hospitality context is advantageous.
Familiarity with hospitality industry standards, including barista experience, is beneficial.
Exceptional organisational skills coupled with attention to detail.
Ability to handle multiple responsibilities whilst maintaining a positive attitude.
