Full job description

Overview
We are seeking a skilled UPVC Fabricator to join our manufacturing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for assembling and fabricating UPVC components, ensuring high-quality standards are maintained throughout the production process. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with a keen eye for detail and a background in mechanical work or warehouse operations to develop their skills within a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities

Measure and cut UPVC profiles accurately using hand tools and power tools
Assemble UPVC frames and components according to technical specifications and drawings
Operate various hand tools, power tools, and assembly equipment safely and efficiently
Conduct quality checks on fabricated products to ensure compliance with company standards
Maintain a clean and organised work area, adhering to health and safety regulations
Assist with loading and unloading materials within the warehouse as required
Collaborate with team members to meet production deadlines and optimise workflow

Skills

Mechanical knowledge is essential for understanding assembly processes and troubleshooting issues
Proficiency in using hand tools such as saws, drills, and screwdrivers
Experience with power tools relevant to fabrication tasks is highly desirable
Previous experience in assembly or manufacturing environments, particularly within a warehouse setting, is advantageous
Strong attention to detail and organisational skills to ensure precise fabrication
Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment

This role is ideal for motivated individuals looking to build their career in manufacturing or construction-related fields, offering valuable hands-on experience with UPVC fabrication processes.

Pay: £130.00-£180.00 per day
