Revenue Assurance Officer- Collections
Location: Prestatyn, North Wales
Salary: £27,105.00 plus bonus scheme

Shifts: Full Time (37.5 hours), Monday-Friday

Permanent contract and Fixed Term contract available

We are looking for a Collections Officer to join our Revenue Assurance team based in Prestatyn. The Collections Officer will be responsible for the collection of outstanding debt from UK and foreign Private Medical Insurances.

What you’ll do:

The role will include outbound and inbound telephone calls, email communications and aged debt correspondence to major insurance companies to ensure they have the necessary information to assess and process outstanding invoices

Responding to and resolving emails from internal and external customers.

Frequent interaction with facility staff at all levels, some travel may be required.

Respond to patient queries and record all patient interactions on the system.

Identify and escalate any revenue having an adverse effect on collections activity to the Team Leader & Collections Manger.

Contacting insurance companies via phone, email or other correspondence and initiates request for payment.

Performs appropriate follow up with insurer and gains commitment for payment.

Identifies insurance company trends and communicates trends to Line Manager & Management for further action/escalation.

What you’ll bring:

Excellent verbal and written communication.

Establishes and maintains long-term customer relationships, building trust and respect by consistently meeting and exceeding expectations.

Demonstrates high proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and others as required, including intermediate level on Microsoft Excel
