Accounts Associate Job Specification

We have a new and exciting opportunity available for an Accounts Associate to join our award-winning, rapidly expanding organisation. This role is a full-time permanent (Open to part time pro-rata but must be 5 days a week), position, based at our head office in Runcorn, Cheshire. In return, you will receive a competitive salary of up to £26,000 per annum depending on experience including a potential bonus of up to £500 per month. There is also a benefits package in addition to your salary.

Working alongside our sister company DCB Legal, who themselves are the largest bulk litigators in the UK, we have created an end-to-end debt recovery and litigation service, which is second to none.

Key Responsibilities of the Accounts Associate

Uploading and processing of supplier invoices, chasing approvals and assisting the producing of payment runs.

Completing chargeback processing and defences.

Monitoring of emails and responding within a timely fashion.

Liaising with Clients for bank details to make payments.

Weekly management and processing of subcontractor Invoices.

Weekly Management of expenses.

Daily payments and transfers to our sister company DCB Legal.

Daily Bank transaction processing and reconciliation.

Daily debit/credit card transaction processing and reconciliation

Creation of accounting system import files.

Processing paybacks to clients of funds recovered.

Processing intercompany transactions.

Accurately record financial transactions in the accounting system, ensuring all entries are complete and precise.

Daily allocation of cash, cheque and bank receipts.

Continually improving all processes for automation where possible.

Undertake additional accounting-related tasks as required.

The successful Accounts Associate will have:

Ability to work to tight deadline in a fast-paced, high transactional environment.

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software.

Good standard of communication skills both written and verbal.

High level of accuracy and attention to detail.

GCSE in English and Mathematics or equivalent.
