About Galaxy Real Estate

Galaxy Real Estate is a fast-growing commercial property agency based in West London, active across sales, lettings, acquisitions and investments. We act for landlords, investors, occupiers and developers on assets ranging from high-street retail and restaurants to industrial units, offices, development land and mixed-use investments across London, the South and the Midlands. The wider Galaxy group also spans bridging finance and principal property investment, giving our team exposure to the full deal lifecycle — from sourcing and appraisal through to funding, letting and disposal.

The Role

We are looking for a RICS Chartered Surveyor with strong commercial lettings and agency experience to join our commercial department. This is a hands-on, client-facing role for someone who wants to run deals from instruction to completion — not sit behind a desk producing reports. You will handle lettings and sales instructions, negotiate Heads of Terms, advise clients on value and strategy, and help us build out the professional services side of the business.

Key Responsibilities

Handle commercial lettings and sales instructions from launch to legal completion, including retail, leisure, industrial and office assets
Conduct viewings, negotiate offers and agree Heads of Terms with tenants, purchasers and their advisers
Prepare market appraisals, letting particulars and marketing strategies for landlord clients
Advise on rental values, lease terms, rent reviews and lease renewals
Build and maintain relationships with landlords, occupiers, investors and fellow agents
Carry out inspections and site visits across our operating area
Support the wider team on acquisitions, investment sales and development opportunities
Contribute to establishing and growing Galaxy's RICS-regulated professional services offering
Ensure all work is carried out in line with RICS professional standards and compliance requirements

About You

MRICS qualified (or FRICS), ideally through the Commercial Real Estate pathway
Minimum 2–3 years' post-qualification experience in commercial agency, lettings or landlord & tenant work
Proven track record of negotiating and completing commercial lettings or sales
Strong knowledge of the London and/or Home Counties commercial market (West London knowledge a plus)
Confident negotiator with excellent written and verbal communication
Self-starter comfortable in an entrepreneurial, fast-moving environment
Full UK driving licence
Registered Valuer status (advantageous but not essential)
