Handyman / Handywoman – Property Maintenance & Renovation

Our office is based in Hexham however properties are mainly across Tyne & Wear, with some work in Carlisle)

Heaney Homes is a small, family-run property company. We take real pride in the quality of our homes and are looking for a reliable, multi-skilled Handyman/Handywoman to join our team.

This is a varied role, covering both the day-to-day maintenance of our high-end HMOs for working professionals, as well as helping to renovate and restore Victorian properties.

The Role

Carry out a wide range of maintenance and repair tasks (basic plumbing, joinery, painting, plaster patching, basic electrics, etc.).
Maintain high standards across our professional house shares.
Support renovation projects on period and Victorian properties.
Work independently, managing jobs from start to finish, and liaise with tenants and our office team.

About You

Experienced in property maintenance or multi-trades.
Take pride in your workmanship and attention to detail.
Positive, reliable and solution-focused.
Must have own van and tools.
Full UK driving licence required.
Willing to travel across Tyne & Wear, with occasional work in Carlisle.
