About The Role

Join Country Cousins as a Self-Employed Live-In Carer

Flexible Work | Up to £155 per day | Make a Real Difference

As a Country Cousins Live-in Carer, you will provide high-quality, one-to-one support to clients in their own homes, helping them remain independent, safe, and comfortable.

We are only seeking highly experienced live-in carers who meet all of the criteria below.

What You’ll Be Doing

Providing companionship and emotional support tailored to each client
Supporting with personal care, meal preparation, and household tasks
Assisting clients with complex needs, including dementia and mobility support
Working alongside families and healthcare professionals, including district nurses and specialist organisations

Essential Requirements (Non-Negotiable)

Please only apply if you meet all of the following:

Minimum 12 months’ LIVE-IN care experience (applications without this will not be reviewed)
- As a self-employed carer with an Introductory agency or
- Employed by a registered care provider
Full UK driving licence (essential)
Willingness to travel across the UK for placements
Proof of right to work in the UK
Self-employed status
Two professional references
Enhanced DBS check
Up-to-date training, including:
- Manual Handling
- Basic First Aid
- Safeguarding of Vulnerable Adults

Important Application Requirement

You must clearly demonstrate your live-in care experience within your CV or application.
Applications that do not show relevant live-in experience will not be considered.
