Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced and proactive Groundwork Supervisor to oversee and coordinate groundworks operations on construction sites. The ideal candidate will possess strong management skills, supervising experience, and proficiency in Primavera P6 to ensure projects are completed efficiently, safely, and within specified timelines. This role offers an excellent opportunity for a dedicated professional to lead groundworks teams and contribute to the successful delivery of infrastructure projects.

Duties

Supervise and coordinate daily groundworks activities, ensuring adherence to project specifications and safety standards.
Manage a team of groundworkers, providing guidance, training, and performance feedback.
Develop detailed programmes using Primavera P6 to plan, schedule, and monitor progress of groundworks tasks.
Liaise with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to facilitate smooth workflow and resolve any operational issues.
Conduct site inspections to ensure quality control and compliance with health and safety regulations.
Organise resource allocation, including materials, equipment, and labour requirements.
Prepare progress reports and documentation for project stakeholders.
Enforce health and safety policies on-site to maintain a safe working environment for all personnel.

Qualifications

Proven management experience within groundworks or civil engineering sectors.
Supervising experience in construction or infrastructure projects.
Proficiency in Primavera P6 or similar programme management software.
Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
Excellent communication skills for liaising with team members and clients.
Knowledge of health and safety legislation relevant to construction sites.
Relevant qualifications in civil engineering or construction management are desirable but not essential. This role is ideal for a motivated leader with a solid background in groundworks supervision who is committed to delivering high-quality results safely and efficiently.

Pay: £260.00-£280.00 per day
