Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Trainee Dental Nurse to join our dynamic dental practice. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing exceptional patient care, assisting the dental team, and ensuring the smooth operation of the clinic. As a Trainee Dental Nurse, you will be responsible for supporting patients throughout their treatment journey, maintaining a sterile environment, and managing administrative tasks. This position is perfect for individuals who are passionate about oral health and enjoy working in a team-oriented environment. You will be enrolled in a training course that leads to a nationally recognised qualification at the end.

Responsibilities

Assist the dentist during various dental procedures, ensuring patient comfort and safety.
Prepare and sterilise instruments and equipment in accordance with infection control protocols.
Provide excellent patient care by reassuring and educating patients about their treatments.
Maintain accurate patient records and assist with scheduling appointments.
Manage inventory of dental supplies and ensure the clinic is well-stocked.
Communicate effectively with patients, addressing any concerns or queries they may have.
Collaborate with the dental team to ensure efficient workflow within the practice.

Skills

Strong patient care skills, demonstrating empathy and understanding towards patients' needs.
Proficiency in English, with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Background in nursing or relevant healthcare experience is highly desirable.
Basic IT skills for managing patient records and scheduling software.
Exceptional organisational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
