Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Bar Staff/Supervisor to join our vibrant hospitality team. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership qualities, excellent customer service skills, and a passion for the hospitality industry. This role involves supervising bar operations, ensuring high standards of service, and maintaining a welcoming atmosphere for guests. Previous experience in restaurant, hotel, or bar environments, along with supervisory experience, is essential. The successful applicant will be responsible for overseeing daily bar activities, managing staff, and ensuring compliance with food safety and hygiene standards. Responsibilities

Supervise daily bar operations, ensuring efficient and smooth service
Lead and motivate team members to deliver exceptional customer experiences
Oversee food and beverage preparation, including basic food preparation and cooking when necessary
Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene
Manage stock levels, organise inventory checks, and place orders as needed
Train new staff members in service procedures, health & safety protocols, and company policies
Handle customer enquiries and resolve any issues promptly to maintain guest satisfaction
Assist with serving drinks and food when required, demonstrating excellent hospitality skills
Maintain a safe working environment by adhering to health & safety guidelines
Support the management team in implementing promotional activities and events

Skills

Proven supervising experience within a restaurant or hospitality setting
Strong team management skills with the ability to lead by example
Excellent communication and organisational abilities
Knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and food safety standards
Experience in serving beverages and food in a fast-paced environment
Familiarity with culinary processes and kitchen operations is advantageous
Hospitality experience in hotels or similar establishments is desirable
Barista experience or expertise in bar operations is a plus
Leadership qualities with the ability to motivate staff and manage multiple priorities effectively
