Care Assistant / Carer – GloucesterFirst4Homecare Ltd

Location: Gloucester

Hours: Full-time & Part-time available

Pay: £13.70 on weekdays and £14.20 per hour on weekends

Driving Required: Yes , must have a car and full UK licence

About the Role

As a Care Assistant, you’ll support clients in their own homes, helping them maintain independence, dignity, and quality of life.

Your duties will include:

Supporting with personal care and daily routines
Providing companionship and emotional support
Assisting with meals and medication prompts
Helping clients remain safe and comfortable at home

Pay Structure

£13.70 weekdays
£14.20 on weekends
Rising to £20.55 on bank holidays

Shift Patterns

Morning: 7:00am – 2:00pm
Evening: 4:00pm – 10:00pm
Flexible shifts available (mornings, evenings, weekends)
Optional waking or sleeping night shifts available

Caring, patient, and dependable individuals
Some care experience preferred (including unpaid family care)
Must live in or near Gloucester
Full UK driving licence & access to a vehicle (essential)
Right to work in the UK (no sponsorship available)
Availability for mornings, evenings, and/or weekends
