Job Summary

Yorkshire Dental Practice are looking for a friendly, outgoing, positive receptionist to join the team! We are a fully private practice, based in Goole, East Yorkshire. We are looking for a part-time receptionist with the scope for further hours. In this vital role, you will be the first point of contact for patients, managing appointments, handling administrative tasks, and ensuring smooth operations. Your organizational skills and enthusiasm will contribute to creating a friendly, efficient environment that patients look forward to visiting.

Responsibilities

Greet patients warmly and professionally, creating a welcoming atmosphere
Schedule and confirm patient appointments using our office management software
Manage patient check-in and check-out processes efficiently
Handle incoming phone calls, respond to inquiries, and direct calls appropriately
Maintain accurate patient records, insurance information, and billing details
Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and correspondence
Coordinate with dental staff to ensure timely patient flow and appointment scheduling
Support billing and payment processing to ensure smooth financial transactions

Qualifications

Prior office experience or administrative experience
Dental background is a bonus but not essential
Excellent communication skills with a friendly, professional demeanor
Strong organizational abilities with attention to detail
Ability to multitask effectively
Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information discreetly
