Job Overview
We are seeking enthusiastic and customer-focused individuals to join our team as Bar Staff. This role involves providing excellent service in a lively and welcoming environment, ensuring guests enjoy their experience. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality, be well-organised, and possess a friendly demeanour. Previous restaurant or bar experience is advantageous but not essential, as training will be provided. This position offers an opportunity to develop your skills within the hospitality industry while working in a vibrant setting.

Responsibilities

Serve drinks and beverages efficiently and courteously to customers at the bar and tables
Take orders accurately and ensure timely delivery of food and drinks
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area, including glassware and utensils
Ensure compliance with food safety standards and responsible alcohol service regulations
Handle cash transactions accurately and operate the till system
Restock supplies as needed to ensure smooth operation during shifts
Engage with customers to create a welcoming atmosphere and promote specials or events
Assist with setting up and clearing tables as required

Skills

Proven experience in hospitality or food service environments is preferred
Knowledge of food safety standards and responsible alcohol service practices
Excellent serving skills with a friendly, approachable manner
Strong organisational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently
Basic maths skills for handling cash transactions and bills
Effective time management to ensure prompt service during busy periods
Ability to work well within a team and adapt quickly to changing demands
Good communication skills, including the ability to engage confidently with diverse customers
