Overview
We are seeking a talented and passionate Hair Stylist to join our dynamic salon team. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills and a strong commitment to delivering exceptional customer service. This role offers opportunities for professional growth, including specialised skills such as eyelash extensions, makeup application, and mentoring junior staff. The successful applicant will be responsible for providing a wide range of hair services while maintaining a welcoming and professional environment for clients.

Responsibilities

Deliver high-quality hair styling services, including cutting, colouring, and styling tailored to client preferences
Offer personalised consultations to understand client needs and recommend suitable styles and products
Manage front desk duties, including appointment scheduling and client check-in/out processes
Upsell retail products and additional services to enhance client satisfaction and salon revenue
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the work station in accordance with health and safety standards
Mentor junior team members, sharing expertise in barbering, colour techniques, or customer service
Assist with store management tasks as required, ensuring smooth daily operations

Requirements

Proven experience as a Hair Stylist or Barber with a strong portfolio of work
Excellent communication skills with the ability to build rapport with clients
Knowledge of current hair trends, colour techniques, and styling tools
Experience in store management or front desk operations is advantageous
Ability to upsell products effectively while maintaining excellent customer service standards
Organised with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple clients simultaneously
A professional attitude with a passion for continuous learning and mentoring others
