Overview

Hutch Logistics is an eCommerce fulfilment provider, helping brands ship thousands of orders every day across the UK and internationally.

Join our dynamic team as a Customer Services & Returns Assistant. Offers an exciting opportunity to use your skills in customer interaction, administrative tasks, and warehouse operations. You'll be empowered to contribute to a fast-paced environment that values enthusiasm, communication, and a proactive attitude.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to start a career in logistics, fulfilment or supply chain management, with practical experience across multiple areas of the business.

Hours

Initially 10:00am – 4:00pm, Monday to Friday. Following training, hours will increase to 9:00am – 5:00pm, Monday to Friday, plus one Saturday per month (9:00am – 4:00pm).

Responsibilities

Your role will include a mixture of office-based administration and practical warehouse duties, including:

Providing excellent customer service via telephone and email.
Processing customer orders and order amendments.
Processing product returns, including inspections, exchanges, refunds and returning stock to inventory.
Using our Warehouse Management System (WMS) to manage orders, stock levels and shipments.
Assisting with inventory management, stock receipting and stock accuracy.
Supporting shipping and receiving operations, including checking inbound deliveries and preparing outbound shipments.
Picking and packing urgent customer orders when required.
Preparing banking and administrative paperwork.
Entering customer discounts and promotional coupons where required.
Working closely with the warehouse team to ensure customer orders are fulfilled accurately and on time.
Saturday Warehouse cover and FLT license or willingness to take test to drive Counter balance FLT in the future.
Helping maintain a clean, organised office environment, including keeping the kitchen tidy and emptying bins.

What We're Looking For

Strong data entry skills with attention to detail and accuracy
Motivated, reliable and eager to learn.
Friendly and passionate about delivering excellent customer service.
Comfortable working independently as well as part of a team.
Confident communicating both over the phone and by email.
Willing to gain practical experience within warehouse operations.
Happy to work in both an office and warehouse environment.
IT confident and able to learn new systems quickly.
