Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated Cleaner to join our team, responsible for maintaining cleanliness and hygiene across various commercial premises. The ideal candidate will ensure that all areas are kept in a pristine condition, contributing to a safe and welcoming environment for staff and visitors alike. This role offers an opportunity to work within a professional setting, supporting the organisation’s commitment to high standards of cleanliness.

Responsibilities

Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming of floors and surfaces.
Clean and sanitise restrooms, kitchens, and communal areas to meet health and safety standards.
Empty bins and dispose of waste appropriately, ensuring recycling protocols are followed.
Maintain cleaning equipment and supplies, reporting any damages or shortages promptly.
Follow health and safety procedures at all times to minimise hazards in the workplace.
Assist with specialised cleaning projects as required, including window cleaning or deep cleans.
Ensure all areas are kept organised and presentable throughout the shift.
A cleaning checklist will be provided to you upon signing our contract which you will also be expected to adhere to every clean

Skills

Previous experience in house cleaning, commercial cleaning or janitorial work is highly desirable.
Strong attention to detail with a commitment to high standards of cleanliness.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Good organisational skills and the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
Physical stamina to perform manual cleaning duties throughout the shift.
Reliable, punctual, and able to follow instructions accurately.

This position is ideal for individuals who take pride in creating clean and hygienic environments, supporting the overall wellbeing of staff and visitors alike.

Pay: £14.99-£15.00 per hour
