Plumber / Gas Engineer

Salary: £36,000 - £44,000 per year

About the Role

Due to continued growth, we are looking to recruit an experienced Plumber / Gas Engineer to join our team. The role involves carrying out a variety of domestic plumbing, heating, and gas-related work, including installations, maintenance, servicing, and repairs.

We are seeking someone who takes pride in their work, has excellent fault-finding skills, and is committed to delivering a high standard of customer service while maintaining full compliance with current safety regulations.

Main Duties

Install, maintain, and repair domestic plumbing systems, fixtures, and pipework.
Service, fault-find, and repair gas boilers, heating systems, and associated appliances.
Complete gas safety inspections and issue certification where required.
Ensure all work is carried out in accordance with current Gas Safe regulations and industry standards.
Accurately complete job records, compliance documentation, and service reports.
Maintain a professional approach in customers' homes and leave all work areas clean, safe, and tidy upon completion.

What We're Looking For

NVQ Level 2 or Level 3 in Plumbing & Heating, or an equivalent qualification.
Current Gas Safe registration.
Previous experience working within domestic plumbing and heating environments.
Strong knowledge of gas safety legislation and health & safety procedures.
Excellent troubleshooting and diagnostic skills.
Full UK driving licence.
Own hand and power tools.
Ability to work independently and as part of a wider team.
