About The Role

Job Role –Duty Manager

Salary – Up to £40,000 per annum

Location – BCA Grimsby

Working Hours – 4 on 4 off

Type of Employment – Permanent

Main purpose of the role:

Take responsibility for site operations as Duty Manager, ensuring smooth day-to-day delivery across vehicle preparation.
Lead from the front, promoting a strong health & safety culture and ensuring full compliance at all times
Manage team performance through coaching, training, and regular feedback
Support the full employee lifecycle, including onboarding, development, and employee relations
Ensure effective workforce planning to maintain optimal staffing levels
Work closely with internal teams and third-party suppliers to maximise operational performance
Monitor KPIs, identify trends, and implement improvements to enhance results
Act as a key escalation point, resolving issues quickly and professionally

Knowledge & Experience:

Experience in a team leader or production management role within a fast-paced operational environment
Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop high-performing teams
Excellent organisational and problem-solving abilities
Confident communicator with the ability to influence at all levels
A proactive, results-driven mindset with strong attention to detail
Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office (Excel preferred)
Knowledge of vehicle refurbishment processes (cosmetic, mechanical, compound) is advantageous
