Outline of the role:

We are looking for 2x Finance Assistants. This is a fantastic opportunity to take your first step into a finance role with the Scottish Courts and Tribunals Service (SCTS).

You don’t need extensive finance experience—what matters most is your attention to detail, willingness to learn, and ability to work as part of a team. We’ll provide full training and ongoing support to help you build your confidence and develop valuable, transferable finance skills.

Both roles are full time working 35 hours per week on a hybrid basis. One role is permanent and the only is on a fixed term basis until December 2027 with the possibly of being converted to permanency. We operate a hybrid working pattern for these vacnacies. Its is our current arrangement to work 2 dyas per week in the office.

You’ll join our Accounts Receivable team, helping to process financial transactions and support customers. This area of finance is a great place to start, as you’ll learn essential skills like managing invoices, tracking payments, and working with financial systems.

The Scottish Courts and Tribunals Service is exempt from the protections of the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (1974).
