JUNIOR DESIGNER / DESIGN ASSISTANT

Putney, South West London

£28,000 – £36,000 DOE + performance progression

Interior Design Concepts is expanding. We are looking for a highly driven Junior Designer / Design Assistant to join our growing luxury kitchen and interior design studio in Putney.

This is not a standard retail showroom role. We specialise in high-end bespoke kitchens and increasingly work across full-property renovations, collaborating closely with clients, contractors, architects, and specialist trades to deliver complete design-and-build projects throughout London.

You will work directly alongside the lead designer on real-world luxury projects ranging from £30k kitchens through to £200k+ refurbishments.

The ideal candidate is technically capable, highly organised, creatively ambitious, and eager to grow rapidly within a modern luxury interiors business.

Responsibilities:

Assisting with kitchen and interior layouts
Producing and amending Winner drawings
Preparing quotations and specifications
Assisting with client presentations
Supporting project coordination and site information
Creating AI-assisted renders and visual content
Liaising with suppliers and contractors
Assisting with social/content material for live projects

Requirements:

Experience using Compusoft Winner (Essential)
Experience within kitchens/interiors/KBB industry
Strong technical awareness and attention to detail
Good communication and organisation skills
Ambitious mindset with willingness to learn quickly
Interest in architecture, interiors, materials and luxury design
Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment

Bonus Skills:

AI rendering knowledge
Photoshop/InDesign experience
Site experience / construction awareness
Social media/content creation interest
