Full job description

Overview
We are looking for a hands-on Stock & Operations Assistant to support our beauty business from our Central London office and stockroom.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys practical, fast-paced work and is organised and detail-oriented. Day-to-day responsibilities include preparing and packing online customer orders, managing stock deliveries, organising inventory, and supporting smooth warehouse and operational processes.

The role also includes occasional customer service support and assisting with larger wholesale shipment preparations.

Responsibilities

Pick, pack, and dispatch daily e-commerce customer orders accurately and efficiently
Receive, unpack, organise, and store incoming stock deliveries
Maintain accurate inventory records using Linnworks
Conduct regular stock checks and report low inventory levels
Prepare larger wholesale shipments when required
Assist with stock movement, lifting, and organising medium-weight boxes and deliveries
Maintain a clean, organised, and efficient stockroom and workspace
Respond to customer enquiries and help resolve order-related issues
Support day-to-day operational and administrative tasks across the business

What We’re Looking For

Organised and detail-oriented with good time management skills
Comfortable with hands-on and physical work, including lifting and moving boxes
Reliable, proactive, and able to work independently
Good communication and problem-solving skills
Basic computer confidence and ability to learn operational systems such as Linnworks and Excel/ LibreOffice Calc
Interest in beauty, fashion, or e-commerce is a plus

Additional Information

Based in a London office and stockroom (W14)
Includes physical stock handling and warehouse-related tasks
Full training provided on internal systems and processes
Discretionary bonus

This is currently a part-time role for 2 days per week, with the possibility of additional days or hours during busier periods or when operational needs require. Candidates must be available to work all Mondays.

Pay: £13.50 per hour
