Sushi Chef Location: London

Job Type: Full-Time / Part-Time / PermanentSalary: Competitive, based on experience (£13.00–£15.50+ per hour) Join a Growing Sushi Business

We are an established and growing sushi business committed to delivering exceptional food quality, outstanding customer service, and an excellent working environment for our team. Due to continued growth, we are looking for an experienced and passionate Sushi Chef to join us.

This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual who takes pride in their craft, enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, and wants to develop their career within a successful and expanding business.

The Role

As a Sushi Chef, you will be responsible for preparing and presenting high-quality sushi products while maintaining the highest standards of food safety, cleanliness, and consistency.

Key responsibilities include:

Preparing a variety of sushi products including nigiri, maki, sashimi, and specialty rolls and menus.
Filleting and preparing fish to company standards.
Ensuring all food is prepared, presented, and stored in accordance with food safety regulations.
Maintaining excellent standards of hygiene, cleanliness, and organisation within the kiosk.
Managing stock rotation and assisting with inventory control.
Working collaboratively with colleagues to ensure efficient service during busy periods.
Following company recipes, procedures, and operational standards.
Supporting the ongoing development and success of the business through a proactive and positive approach.

What We're Looking For

The ideal candidate will have:

Previous experience as a Sushi Chef or within a similar sushi-focused role.
Strong knife skills and confidence preparing and cutting fish.
A thorough understanding of food hygiene and food safety standards.
The ability to work efficiently whilst maintaining exceptional quality.
Strong attention to detail and pride in presentation.
A positive attitude, strong work ethic, and willingness to learn.
Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and peak trading periods (range between 6am and 8pm).
Eligibility to work in the UK.
