Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Domestic Cleaner to maintain the cleanliness and organisation of holiday let properties. The successful candidate will ensure that all accommodation is prepared to the highest standards for guests, providing a welcoming and hygienic environment. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with a keen eye for detail and a passion for hospitality to contribute to a positive guest experience.

Responsibilities

Thoroughly clean and sanitise all rooms, including bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchens, and communal areas.
Change bed linens, towels, and replenish toiletries as required.
Ensure all surfaces are dusted, vacuumed, mopped, and polished to meet company standards.
Report any maintenance issues or damages to management promptly.
Assist with laundry duties including washing, drying, folding, and organising linen.
Prepare properties for incoming guests by ensuring they are tidy, well-stocked, and welcoming.
Maintain cleaning equipment and supplies in good condition and inform management when stock levels are low.
Adhere to health and safety regulations at all times during cleaning procedures.

Skills

Prior experience in janitorial or commercial cleaning is advantageous.
Customer service skills to ensure guest satisfaction when interacting with holiday let visitors.
Experience in hotel or holiday let cleaning is desirable but not essential; training will be provided.
Basic cooking skills are a plus for preparing welcome packs or light refreshments for guests.
Organised with excellent attention to detail to maintain high standards of cleanliness.
Ability to work independently and efficiently within set timeframes.
Good communication skills and a professional attitude towards guests and team members.
