Overview
We are seeking a friendly and organised GP Receptionist to join our busy medical practice. The successful candidate will be the first point of contact for patients, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring the smooth operation of the front desk. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with office and administrative experience to contribute to a caring healthcare environment.

Duties

Greet patients warmly and professionally upon arrival
Manage patient appointments and scheduling using the practice management system
Answer incoming calls promptly and assist with patient enquiries
Verify patient details and update records accurately
Handle administrative tasks such as filing, photocopying, and data entry
Process patient check-ins and check-outs efficiently
Maintain a clean and organised reception area
Support the clinical team with administrative support as required
Ensure compliance with confidentiality and data protection policies

Experience

Previous office or administrative experience is essential
Experience working in a healthcare setting is desirable but not mandatory
Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
Ability to remain calm and professional in a busy environment
