Job Title: Machinist
Location: Harlow
Employment Type: Permanent
Salary/Rate: Annual Salary

Role Conditions

Working Monday to Thursday, 07:30 – 16:00 & Friday, 07:30 – 12:30
Overtime paid at 1.5 times hourly rate
29 days holiday including bank holidays

About the Role

On behalf of our client, a leading organisation in the aviation industry, we are currently recruiting for a Machinist. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a dynamic environment with a strong focus on safety, compliance and technical excellence.

Key Responsibilities

Use a range of machinery including lathes, mills, jig borers and grinders to perform repairs to customers equipment in accordance with their order requirements and the approved technical data
Carry out routine and preventative maintenance tasks to machinery as required
Comply with all safety requirements and ensure the correct use of PPE
Removal and installation of bushings/bearings/cups/liners as required

Candidate Requirements

Ability to read and interpret engineering data and drawings
Previous experience within the aerospace industry desirable
Right to work in the UK
