Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Nursery Practitioner Level 2 to join our team in Harlow. The successful candidate will play a vital role in supporting the development and well-being of children within our nursery setting. This position offers an excellent opportunity for individuals passionate about early childhood education and childcare to contribute to a nurturing environment where children can thrive. The role involves working closely with colleagues to deliver high-quality care and educational activities, ensuring a safe, engaging, and inclusive atmosphere for all children.

Responsibilities

Support the planning and delivery of age-appropriate activities that promote children's development across all areas.
Supervise and engage with children during play, learning, and mealtime, fostering their social and emotional growth.
Assist in maintaining a safe, clean, and welcoming environment in accordance with nursery policies and procedures.
Observe and record children's progress, sharing insights with colleagues and parents as appropriate.
Support the implementation of individualised care plans for children with additional needs.
Collaborate effectively with team members to ensure smooth daily operations within the nursery.
Uphold high standards of health and safety at all times, including adhering to safeguarding policies.

Experience

Previous experience working with children in a nursery or early childhood setting is highly desirable.
Knowledge of early childhood education principles and childcare best practices.
Demonstrated management or leadership skills within a childcare environment are advantageous.
Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written, to effectively liaise with colleagues, children, and parents.
Ability to work well as part of a team while also demonstrating initiative independently.
