Overview
We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Accounts Assistant cum Computer Operator to join our finance team. This role involves managing accounting tasks and operating various accounting software to ensure accurate financial record-keeping. The ideal candidate will possess strong organisational skills, proficiency in accounting programmes, and the ability to handle multiple responsibilities efficiently. Responsibilities

Maintain and update financial records using accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage, and Xero
Manage accounts payable processes, ensuring timely payments and accurate data entry
Assist with bank reconciliations and financial reporting tasks
Handle data entry and administrative duties related to financial documentation
Operate computer systems effectively to support daily accounting functions
Support the finance team with ad-hoc administrative tasks as required
Ensure compliance with organisational policies and procedures related to financial operations

Qualifications

Proven experience in using accounting software including QuickBooks, Sage, or Xero
Strong knowledge of accounts payable processes and general ledger management
Proficiency in MS Office Suite, especially Excel and Word
Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively
Good communication skills, both written and verbal
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Previous experience in an administrative or clerical role within a finance environment is desirable
