Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our dynamic team in a bustling restaurant environment. Duties

Greet and seat guests promptly with a warm and friendly attitude.
Take accurate food and drink orders using the restaurant’s point-of-sale system.
Assist in food preparation when necessary, ensuring adherence to food safety guidelines.
Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales.
Serve food and beverages efficiently, ensuring that all orders are delivered accurately and timely.
Maintain cleanliness of tables, utensils, and the dining area throughout service.
Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth operation during peak hours.
Handle guest inquiries and complaints professionally, striving for complete satisfaction.
Manage time effectively to ensure all tasks are completed within service periods.

Requirements

Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is preferred but not essential.
Knowledge of food safety practices is highly desirable.
Basic maths skills for handling transactions and processing payments accurately.
Strong time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy periods.
A passion for culinary arts and an eagerness to learn about menu items.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage positively with guests and team members alike.
Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
