Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and order in residential care setting, ensuring a welcoming and hygienic environment for all occupants. This role requires a strong commitment to customer service and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Responsibilities

Perform cleaning duties including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitising surfaces.
Ensure all areas are maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene.
Handle laundry services, including washing, drying, and ironing as required.
Provide excellent customer service by addressing any resident requests promptly and courteously.
Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management immediately.
Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and report when stock is low.
Follow health and safety regulations to ensure a safe working environment.
Follow infection prevention control policies stringently.

Requirements

Previous experience in housekeeping roles is preferred.
Experience in residential care homes/hospitals is an advantage.
Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with residents.
Attention to detail and a proactive approach to cleaning tasks.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
Flexibility in working hours, including weekends if required.
