Full job description

Job Overview

Full-time (30-35 hours per week), although part time hours may be considered for the right candidate

We are looking for a Bookkeeper/Accounts Assistant with Sage 50 experience to join our friendly accountancy practice.

Duties will include:

Bookkeeping for a variety of clients
VAT returns and general accounts support
Processing invoices, receipts and bank transactions using Sage 50
Bank reconciliations
Payroll assistance
Dealing with client queries
General office and administrative duties

The ideal candidate will:

Have previous bookkeeping experience
Be familiar with Sage (or similar accounting software) and Excel
Have good organisational skills and attention to detail
Enjoys working with people and providing good customer service
Be able to work independently as well as part of a small team
