PART-TIME LETTINGS & PROPERTY COORDINATOR – EASTBOURNE

Permanent | 20 hours per week | £15 per hour (£15,600 per annum) | Performance bonus

Tribeliving is looking for a confident, highly organised and exceptionally reliable person to become our local representative across our Eastbourne co-living properties and studios.

ABOUT TRIBELIVING

Tribeliving is an independent lettings and property management company specialising in professionally managed co-living homes and studios across Eastbourne. We are a close-knit, supportive team committed to providing attractive, well-maintained homes and a responsive service to both tenants and landlords.

Our team works remotely, with this role providing an important local presence across our Eastbourne properties.

THE ROLE

This is a varied, hands-on position for someone who enjoys meeting people, presenting homes beautifully and taking responsibility for getting things done.

You will conduct viewings, follow up prospective tenants and ensure our rooms and studios are properly checked, recorded and ready for new arrivals.

This is a field-based role across Eastbourne rather than an office-based position. You will work independently at our properties while remaining in close daily contact with our established remote management team. Full training, clear procedures and ongoing support will be provided.

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING

Conducting friendly and professional property viewings
Following up prospective tenants promptly after viewings
Helping suitable applicants through the next stages of the lettings process
Completing detailed check-in and check-out inventories
Carrying out periodic room and property inspections
Checking rooms before marketing and reporting any work required
Helping prepare and lightly dress rooms for photographs and viewings
Taking good-quality photographs and short videos
Completing key handovers and welcoming new tenants
Providing agreed access for contractors
Checking that maintenance work has been completed correctly
Keeping accurate records and updating our property management system
Providing reliable local support to the wider Tribeliving team

THE WORKING PATTERN

This is a permanent 20-hour-per-week position with an agreed rota combining daytime property work, two early evenings per week and alternate Saturday mornings.

Saturday hours form part of the contracted 20 hours and are not additional. Some flexibility may occasionally be required for appointments, with any changes agreed in advance.

ABOUT YOU

You will be warm, professional and confident dealing with a wide range of people. You must be exceptionally reliable, responsive and comfortable working independently without close supervision.

You will need:

Excellent communication and organisational skills
Strong attention to detail
Confidence following up enquiries and helping to secure tenancies
Good smartphone and basic computer skills
A full UK driving licence
Your own reliable car with business-use motor insurance
Availability until approximately 7pm on two agreed weekdays
Availability from approximately 10am to 2pm on alternate Saturdays
To live within easy reach of Eastbourne

Previous lettings, property, hospitality or strong customer-facing experience would be helpful. However, attitude, reliability, initiative and commercial confidence are equally important.

TRUST AND SCREENING

Because the position involves holding property keys and entering tenants’ private accommodation, any offer will be subject to:

A satisfactory Basic DBS check
Right-to-work and identity checks
Suitable employment references, including the most recent employer
Verification of driving licence and business-use motor insurance

The appointment will be subject to a three-month probationary period.
