De Aston School is looking for a warm, enthusiastic and proactive Learning Support Assistant to join our friendly, high‑performing Learning Support team, either as an apprentice or level 1. If you’re someone who believes every young person deserves to feel valued, supported and encouraged to achieve their best, no matter what their context is, this role could be the start of something incredibly rewarding.

What you’ll do:
You’ll support students with a range of needs across all Key Stages, helping them thrive both in lessons and through targeted interventions. No two days are the same—one moment you’re boosting confidence, another you’re helping a student master a new skill or overcome a challenge. You’ll work closely with experienced colleagues, contribute to inclusive practice, and be a reliable, positive presence for the learners who need you most.

Role details:

Hours: 32.5 per week (Mon–Fri, 8:30am–3:30pm)
Weeks: 39 weeks + 5.6 weeks paid holiday
Salary: Apprentice - £11,596 or Level 1 - £18,630
Start: 1st September 2026
Closing date: 9am Tuesday 14th Julye 2026
Shortlisting date: Tuesday 14th July 2026
Interview date: Tuesday 21st Julye 2026
