Full job description

Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated Part-time Housekeeper / Cleaner to maintain the cleanliness and organisation of a large country house. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with a passion for hospitality and attention to detail and includes some food preparation

Responsibilities

Clean and tidy all designated areas within the house, including bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchens, and living spaces
Ensure all surfaces are dusted, vacuumed, mopped, and sanitised to high standards
Change bed linens and organise laundry as required
Maintain cleanliness of furniture, fixtures, and fittings
Shop for groceries as directed
Food preparation and some cooking
Assisting with special occasions/lunches if needed

Requirements

Previous experience in housekeeping or hospitality is highly desirable
Cleaning experience is preferred
Strong organisational skills with an eye for detail
Ability to work independently and efficiently within a flexible schedule - occasional extra hours will be required.
A professional attitude with excellent time management skills
Reliable, discrete and trustworthy with a strong work ethic
Driver with own vehicle due to rural location and requirement to run errands.
