Full job description

Prince & Sons Butchers is a modern, family-run butcher’s shop in the heart of Horsell. We are passionate about quality produce, excellent customer service, and creating a welcoming environment for both our customers and our team.

5 days per week (Including Saturdays)

7am ~ 5:30pm - Every Sunday off along with a day off mid-week.

We are looking for a full-time butcher to join our small, friendly team.

About the Role

This is a varied role that goes beyond traditional butchery. As a modern butcher, we produce a wide range of value-added products and pride ourselves on maintaining high standards throughout the shop.

Your responsibilities will include:

Preparing and producing value-added products
Basic carcass breakdown and meat preparation
Serving customers and providing excellent customer service
Maintaining high standards of cleanliness and presentation throughout the shop
Stock rotation and general shop duties
Working closely with the team to ensure smooth day-to-day operations

What We’re Looking For

The ideal candidate will:

Have previous butchery experience
Be confident carrying out basic carcass breakdowns
Have strong customer service skills and experience serving customers in a busy retail environment
Be able to remain calm and professional during busy periods
Have good common sense and a positive attitude
Be reliable, hardworking, and a genuine team player
Take pride in their work and maintain high standards
