Project Social Value Lead – Major Healthcare Project
Location: West Yorkshire
We are looking for an experienced and passionate
Project Social Value Lead to join our team on a landmark new hospital project. This is a rare opportunity to play a leading role in delivering lasting social impact through one of the UK’s most significant healthcare infrastructure programmes.
You will lead the delivery of initiatives that create real benefits for local communities — from employment and skills to partnerships with education providers, charities and community organisations.
You will work collaboratively with Alliance partners, NHS Trusts and the new hospital programme supporting both local and national initiatives to enhance the overall programme offering. Operating across organisational boundaries, you will maximise collective impact, identify shared opportunities, and develop initiatives that deliver value for both the local community and the wider Alliance.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Leading the development and delivery of the project’s Social Value Delivery Plan aligned to NHS and Alliance framework requirements
- Creating sustainable employment, skills and training opportunities that deliver measurable benefits for local people
- Building partnerships with schools, colleges, charities and community groups
- Working with the NHS, local stakeholders, Alliance and supply chain partners
- Monitoring and reporting social value outcomes and impact
- Driving innovation and continuous improvement in delivery
What We’re Looking For
✔ Experience delivering social value or community benefit initiatives
✔ Strong stakeholder engagement and relationship-building skills
✔ Ability to manage programmes, data and performance reporting
✔ Passion for creating positive social impact
✔ Experience in construction, infrastructure or public sector
✔ Knowledge of social value frameworks (e.g. TOMs) (desirable)
