Pay: £12.97 Per Hour
Hours: 10 hour day shift Monday-Friday

The Security Officer plays a vital role in protecting employees, property, and business assets at Keysight, a highly rated employer renowned for delivering market-leading design, emulation, and test solutions that help engineers develop and deploy new technologies faster and with less risk across the communications, aerospace, automotive, and electronics industries. The Security Officer is responsible for providing a professional security service in accordance with assignment instructions and customer requirements, while delivering exceptional customer service at all times. Demonstrating Securitas’ core values of Integrity, Vigilance, and Helpfulness, the Security Officer helps maintain a safe and secure environment for staff, visitors, and operations, ensuring the site remains protected, efficient, and fully operational.

Job Description

Key Responsibilities :You’ll play a vital part in keeping people, property, and information safe. That includes:

As a Security Officer at Keysight Technologies, you will be responsible for maintaining a safe, secure, and professional environment for employees, visitors, contractors, and company assets. Duties include:
Conducting internal and external security patrols and preventing unauthorised access to the site.
Monitoring CCTV, fire alarms, intruder alarms, and other security systems.
Managing site access, issuing visitor and contractor passes, and carrying out locking and unlocking procedures.
Providing traffic management, enforcing parking regulations, and maintaining accurate security records and logbooks.
Supporting health and safety compliance by reporting hazards, faults, accidents, and unsafe practices.
Ensuring emergency escape routes remain clear and assisting with emergency response procedures.
Investigating fire alarm activations and liaising with the Securitas Operations Centre (SOC) during incidents.

Qualifications

What we’re looking for:

Strong front-of-house and customer service skills.
Experience working closely with facilities and site management teams.
Good IT skills and the ability to use site security systems and software.
Excellent reliability, punctuality, and attention to detail.
Strong communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
A valid SIA licence.
Previous experience in a distribution or loss prevention environment
The right to work in the UK with a full 5-year checkable employment history.
