Job Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Bookkeeper to join our dynamic team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, managing accounts payable and receivable, and ensuring the integrity of our accounting processes. Your expertise will help support our financial health and operational efficiency, enabling us to achieve our business goals with confidence. Responsibilities

Record and reconcile daily financial transactions using various accounting software platforms such as QuickBooks
Manage accounts payable by processing invoices, verifying expenses, and ensuring timely payments
Maintain accurate records of accounts receivable, including invoicing and tracking payments received
Assist with bank reconciliations and prepare financial reports for management review
Support month-end and year-end closing procedures to ensure compliance with accounting standards
Collaborate with team members to improve bookkeeping processes and streamline workflows
Ensure all financial documentation is organized, secure, and compliant with company policies

Requirements

Proven experience as a Bookkeeper or in a similar accounting role, with familiarity in using accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage, or Xero
Strong understanding of accounts payable processes and financial recordkeeping practices
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills to manage multiple tasks accurately
Ability to work independently and communicate effectively within a team environment
Basic knowledge of accounting principles and procedures
High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification in bookkeeping or accounting is a plus
Nice-to-have skills include proficiency in various accounting software platforms and experience with bank reconciliations
