We are seeking a test technician to join our Electrification and Battery Testing team. In this role, you will

Prepare customer (EV battery) product for testing within the BAT (Battery Abuse Test) facility.
Assist engineers in setting up the test equipment, instrument the product and perform the test.

Carry out pre & post-test safety checks on product and equipment and complete safety documentation.

If you are passionate about advancing electric vehicle technology and have a strong background in battery testing, this opportunity is for you. NOTE: outdoor working year-round

This is a 12-month contract Inside IR35
This role is to be paid up to £22 p/hr inclusive of holiday pay.
The role is working 39 hours a week
Some shift working/overtime maybe required - an allowance will be paid accordingly in line with agency worker regulations

What you’ll need

Level 3 qualification in a relevant engineering discipline
Hands-on mechanical/electrical aptitude, careful working style, and a strong safety mindset.
Full UK Driving licence required
Use of Microsoft Office
