Job Title: Residential Support Worker – Children’s Home
Location: Nuneaton (CV11)
Salary: £29,000 – £33,000 per annum (dependent on experience and qualifications)
Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent
Shift Pattern: Rotational shifts, including evenings, weekends and sleep-ins

We are a dedicated and child-focused provider committed to delivering high-quality residential care for children and young people aged 8–18 with emotional and behavioural difficulties. Our home in Nuneaton offers a safe, nurturing environment where children can grow, heal, and achieve their full potential.

We are now looking for passionate, resilient, and committed Residential Support Workers to join our growing team.

Key Responsibilities

Provide day-to-day care, support, and supervision to children in a homely and therapeutic environment
Build positive, trusting relationships with children and young people to promote emotional wellbeing and personal development
Support with daily routines including meals, education, activities, and personal care
Maintain clear and accurate records, including daily logs, incident reports and care plans
Work collaboratively with the wider care team, social workers, therapists, and other professionals
Ensure safeguarding and safety procedures are always followed
Promote independence, life skills and positive behaviour in line with individual care plans

What We’re Looking For

Experience working with children or young people in a residential or similar care setting (preferred)
A compassionate, patient, and understanding approach
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Resilience and the ability to manage challenging behaviours
A willingness to work flexible shifts including weekends and sleep-ins
Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare (or willingness to work towards)
Full UK driving licence (preferred)
