Full job description

Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Motor Mechanic to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining, repairing, and servicing our customers cars troubleshooting a variety of faults using diagnostic tools. This role requires a strong mechanical knowledge, proficiency with hand and power tools, and the ability to interpret schematics. The Mechanic will play a vital part in supporting the smooth running of our operations through effective maintenance and repair activities.

Duties

Diagnose faults using schematics and mechanical knowledge
Repair or replace faulty components using hand tools, power tools, welding, and assembly techniques
use of tyre fitting equipment
Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs undertaken
Ensure all work complies with safety standards and procedures
Support the team with heavy lifting tasks and assist in troubleshooting complex mechanical issues
Provide excellent customer service by addressing internal or external client needs promptly and professionallyQualifications
Proven experience as a Mechanic or repair and maintenance of cars.
Strong understanding of schematics, mechanical systems, and assembly processes
Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and other maintenance tools
Knowledge of safety standards related to mechanical work environments
Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently
Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail
Good communication skills to collaborate effectively within a team
Relevant technical qualifications or certifications in mechanical engineering or related fields are desirable but not essential
