Overview
We are seeking a friendly and professional Part-time Server to join our vibrant hospitality team. The ideal candidate will deliver exceptional guest service in a fast-paced restaurant environment, ensuring every visitor has a memorable dining experience. This role offers flexible hours suitable for individuals seeking part-time employment, with opportunities to develop their skills within the hospitality industry. Candidates should have a passion for food service, excellent communication skills, and a welcoming demeanour.

Responsibilities

Greet guests warmly upon arrival and provide attentive table service throughout their visit
Take accurate food and beverage orders, ensuring special dietary requirements are accommodated
Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation and cleanliness
Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and maximise sales opportunities
Ensure food safety and hygiene standards are consistently met in accordance with health regulations
Assist with basic food preparation tasks when required, supporting kitchen staff as needed
Handle payments accurately using the POS system and provide guests with correct change or receipts
Maintain cleanliness of tables, service stations, and dining areas during shifts
Provide excellent guest services by addressing questions or concerns promptly and professionally
Support team members during busy periods to ensure smooth restaurant operations

Qualifications

Previous experience in hospitality or restaurant service is preferred but not essential; training will be provided
Knowledge of food safety standards and basic food preparation techniques is advantageous
Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage time effectively in a busy environment
Excellent communication skills with a friendly and approachable manner
Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team
Basic maths skills for handling transactions accurately
Experience in guest services, upselling, or culinary roles is desirable but not mandatory
Flexibility to work during evenings, weekends, or holidays as required
