Vehicle Technician

Salary: £38,000–£44,000 (depending on experience)

We’re a proud, family-owned independent garage that has been serving our customers since 1949. Due to continued growth, we’re looking for a skilled and motivated Vehicle Technician to join our friendly and professional workshop team.

The Role

Your day-to-day duties will include:

Vehicle servicing and routine maintenance
Clutch and cambelt replacements
Brake and suspension repairs
Diagnosing and repairing electrical faults using modern diagnostic equipment
Communicating effectively with the workshop control and the rest of the team
Carrying out repairs and maintenance on both retail customer vehicles and sales vehicles
Ensuring all work is completed to a high standard

What We’re Looking For

NVQ Level 3 in Vehicle Maintenance & Repair (or equivalent)
A capable, reliable and efficient technician with a strong work ethic
Good diagnostic and fault-finding skills
MOT Tester licence preferred, but not essential
A full UK driving licence

What We Offer

£38,000–£44,000 salary, depending on experience
39-hour working week
Minimum of one Saturday morning every fortnight
Optional overtime available
22 days’ annual leave plus bank holidays
