Overview

Join our dynamic team as a Part-Time Bookkeeper (3 days/week) and play a vital role in maintaining accurate financial records that drive our business forward! This energetic position offers the opportunity to work with a variety of accounting software tools, ensuring smooth financial operations while balancing your schedule. Duties

Manage and record daily financial transactions using Xero accounting software
Reconcile bank statements and ensure all accounts payable and accounts receivable are processed accurately and timely
Supplier invoice payments.
Send customer statements and act as credit control ensuring timely receipt of payment from customers.
Act as a control mechanism for COGS reviewing costs build up of products and opening and closing stock takes.
Support month-end closing activities by preparing reports and verifying account balances
Collaborate with team members to resolve discrepancies and improve bookkeeping processes

Skills

Proficiency in popular Xero accounting software
Strong understanding of accounts payable procedures and financial reconciliation techniques
Excellent organizational skills with keen attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment
Good communication skills to collaborate with team members and external vendors
Familiarity with general ledger management
Ability to adapt quickly to new software tools and evolving bookkeeping practices
