Full job description

We run 2 independent, family owned hospitality venues in the seaside town of Clevedon, consisting of a Bottle Shop & Bar, and a Tapas Restaurant.

We are currently looking to recruit a front of house supervisor to work predominantly at our Tapas Restaurant.

This is an exciting opportunity for experienced individuals to come and work in a varied and stimulating role with plenty of opportunity for self-development and career progression.

The ideal candidate would have at least 1 year's experience in a similar role. Previous knowledge of Epos Now till system would be beneficial but not essential as full training can be given.

Main duties as follows:

Greeting and assisting customers, taking orders, using the till system, preparing food & drinks, maintaining a clean and organised dining area, handling credit card transactions.
Following daily opening up and closing down shift plans.
Delivering excellent standards of customer service at all times by listening, understanding and dealing with customer queries in a confident, professional, knowledgeable and friendly manner – motivating the team to do the same.
Using initiative to make the right decisions.
Effective communication with the kitchen team e.g. in relation to food allergens.
Assist with ensuring that high standards of hygiene, safety and general housekeeping are met at all times Ensuring personal cleanliness is to a high standard at all times (clothes, hands etc).
Passing customer feedback to management.
Attending staff meetings and relevant training courses.
Build and maintain excellent working relationships with internal and external contacts.
Carry out any other duties as decided by the Directors.

Pay: £13.50 per hour
