Full job description

Job Summary
We are seeking a proactive and organised Assistant Property Manager to support our property management team. The successful candidate will assist with daily operations, tenant relations, and administrative tasks to ensure the smooth running of our property portfolio. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals looking to develop their career within property management in a dynamic environment.

Necessary training will be provided by property management experts with over 25 years of experience.

Initial placement will be flexible but the opportunity to formalise this into a full permanent role will be confirmed after probation period.

Duties

Assist in managing tenant enquiries and maintenance requests via phone and email, ensuring prompt and professional responses.
Support lease administration, including data entry and updating tenant records using Yardi or similar property management software.
Coordinate property inspections, move-ins, and move-outs, maintaining accurate documentation.
Assist with rent collection, arrears follow-up, and upselling additional services or amenities to tenants.
Organise and maintain administrative files, reports, and correspondence related to property management activities.
Support the team with general office duties such as scheduling appointments, preparing reports, and handling incoming calls with excellent phone etiquette.
Contribute to marketing efforts by promoting available units and upselling features to prospective tenants.

Qualifications

Previous office experience or administrative background is preferred but not mandatory.
Strong data entry skills with attention to detail.
Excellent organisational skills with the ability to multitask efficiently.
Good communication skills, demonstrating professional phone etiquette and customer service orientation.
Experience in a hospitality environment is a plus.
Proven ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced setting. This role is ideal for motivated individuals eager to grow within the property management sector while contributing positively to our organisation’s success.
