Full job description

We are seeking a highly organised and customer-focused Sales Order Processer to join our Internal Sales team. This is an excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic individual with administration and sales order processing experience to play a key role in supporting customers and ensuring the smooth flow of orders from start to finish.

The successful candidate will be responsible for processing orders, handling customer enquiries, maintaining accurate records, and working closely with the sales team to deliver an outstanding customer experience.

Key Responsibilities

Manage customer orders from initial receipt through to completion
Process sales orders accurately and efficiently
Handle incoming customer enquiries via telephone and email
Maintain and update customer databases and internal systems
Check stock availability and pricing information
Keep customers informed throughout the order process
Liaise closely with internal sales team members and other departments
Provide excellent customer service and resolve customer queries promptly
Carry out general administrative duties to support the sales function

To be successful in this role, you will have:

Previous sales order processing and/or administration experience
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong IT skills and confidence using databases and business systems
Exceptional organisational skills and attention to detail
The ability to prioritise workloads and work effectively in a fast-paced environment
A positive, proactive, and customer-focused attitude
Strong teamwork and relationship-building skills

START DATE 1st October 2026
