Job Overview
We are seeking enthusiastic and professional Bar Staff to join our vibrant hospitality team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing excellent customer service, preparing and serving beverages, and ensuring a welcoming environment for all patrons. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work in a lively setting, delivering memorable experiences to our guests while maintaining high standards of service and safety.

Duties

Welcome guests and take beverage orders with a friendly and attentive approach
Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks in accordance with standard recipes and safety guidelines
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area, including glassware, utensils, and equipment
Check identification to verify legal drinking age and ensure responsible service of alcohol
Handle cash transactions accurately using the till system
Restock bar supplies as needed to ensure smooth service throughout shifts
Assist in setting up and clearing tables or seating areas as required
Follow food safety regulations and hygiene standards at all times
Collaborate with team members to deliver efficient service during busy periods

Skills

Proven experience in hospitality or bar service is advantageous
Knowledge of food safety standards relevant to the hospitality industry
Excellent serving skills with a friendly, approachable demeanour
Strong organisational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently
Basic maths skills for handling cash transactions accurately
Good time management to ensure prompt service during peak hours
Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
A personable attitude with strong communication skills, especially when engaging with diverse customers
