Full job description

What does the job involve?

The assembly operative will be responsible for assembling engineered parts prior to delivery to Customer.

Duties and Responsibilities

Install units, parts, equipment and components in structural assembly according to customer specifications, using hand and power tools
Perform miscellaneous duties in the assembly area as directed
Follow all safety guidelines established by the Company, including proper use of safety equipment and relevant safety procedures
Ability to interpret drawings and follow standard operating procedures
Follow 5s procedures and work in an organised manner

Required Attributes

Demonstrate a good attitude towards work
Follows instructions and demonstrates strong attention to detail
Mechanically inclined, good manual dexterity

Previous experience in aerospace, engineering, manufacturing or a similar assembly environment is desirable

Education, Skills and Experience

Ability to read and follow detailed work instructions
Practical / hands on work experience

Working Hours

Weekly Rotating 0600/1400 - 1400/2200
37 hours per week
