Overview
We are seeking a passionate and skilled Pizza Chef to join our vibrant culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food preparation and cooking, with a keen eye for quality and presentation. This role offers an exciting opportunity to craft delicious pizzas in a fast-paced environment, ensuring customer satisfaction through exceptional meal preparation and food safety standards. The ideal candidate should also have experience in preparing steaks, fish dishes and pasta dishes and a variety of sauces.

Duties

Prepare and cook a variety of pizzas according to established recipes and customer specifications
Ensure all ingredients are fresh, properly stored, and used in accordance with food safety regulations
Assist in the organisation and cleanliness of the kitchen area, maintaining high standards of hygiene
Manage multiple orders efficiently during busy periods, ensuring timely delivery of each dish
Monitor cooking times and temperatures to guarantee optimal quality and safety
Collaborate with team members to uphold the restaurant’s service standards
Restock ingredients and supplies as needed to ensure smooth kitchen operations

Experience

Previous experience in food preparation or cooking within a restaurant environment is preferred
Knowledge of culinary techniques related to pizza making and meal preparation
Knowledge of culinary techniques related to the making and preparation of steaks, fish dishes and pasta dishes
Familiarity with food safety protocols and hygiene standards in a professional kitchen setting
Experience working in a fast-paced environment, demonstrating organisational skills and attention to detail
Serving experience is advantageous but not essential; however, a friendly attitude towards customers is desirable
